DeadEye - Dead Eye Enhanced Edition
  RDR2-style bullet-time for GTA V Enhanced (Singleplayer)
  Version 1.0 | by TeamHimes | 100% FREE
========================================================================

Bring Red Dead Redemption's iconic Dead Eye to GTA V Enhanced: slow down
time, mark multiple targets, and unleash them all in one deadly volley.
Your character actually turns, aims and fires at every mark.

Complete and 100% free. No paywall, no locked features - everyone gets
the full mod.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
  REQUIREMENTS
------------------------------------------------------------------------
- GTA V ENHANCED (Singleplayer)
- Script Hook V ................ by Alexander Blade
- Script Hook V .NET Enhanced ... by Chiheb-Bacha
(this itself needs .NET Framework 4.8 and the Visual C++ 2019 x64
redistributable - see its own install page)

------------------------------------------------------------------------
  INSTALLATION
------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Install Script Hook V and Script Hook V .NET Enhanced (follow their
   own instructions).

2. Copy the following into your GTA V "scripts" folder, keeping the
   folder structure intact:
      - DeadEye.dll
      - DeadEye.ini
      - DeadEyeSounds\ (folder with the .wav sound files)

3. Open "OPENIV" "EDITMODE"
   Copy "DeadEye.ytd"
   into mods\update\update.rpf\x64\textures\script_txds.rpf

(This holds the crosshair / HUD textures - the mod will not
draw its crosshairs correctly without it.)

NVE USERS dont need the step above, they only copy the ONIGIRI FOLDER in the MAINFOLDER from GTAV

4. Start the game. Press B (default) to toggle Dead Eye.

NOTE on sounds: sound files must be PCM WAV - MP3 is NOT supported.
They live in: scripts\DeadEyeSounds\

------------------------------------------------------------------------
  HOW TO USE
------------------------------------------------------------------------
B - toggle Dead Eye on/off (time slows down)
X - while active, MARK the target you are aiming at
B - toggle Dead Eye OFF again to EXECUTE the volley on all marks
End - open the in-game menu

Progression: you start at Stage 1 (slow-motion aiming). Land headshots
to rank up through 5 stages - higher stages let you mark more targets
and keep Dead Eye active longer. Multi-target marking unlocks from
Stage 2 onward.

All keys, slow-motion strength, duration, max marks, reticle styles and
colors, bullet-cam, look styles and sounds are configurable in the menu.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
  CONFIGURATION
------------------------------------------------------------------------
- In-game menu (default key: End) - change everything on the fly.
- DeadEye.ini - created automatically next to the .dll on first run;
it stores your settings. You can also edit it by hand.
- Languages: English, German, Italian, Spanish, French.

Support log (optional): if you ever want to report a problem, set
  Logging=1
in DeadEye.ini. The mod then writes a small DeadEye.log with only the
start line and real errors (no gameplay spam). Leave it at Logging=0
for normal play.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
TROUBLESHOOTING / KNOWN QUIRKS (please read before reporting)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
This mod runs on GTA V (2013 engine), not RDR2 - so a few things
are not 1:1 perfect, and that's expected:

- With fully automatic weapons the character may fire a short
burst per mark rather than a single clean shot.
- The camera does not force-follow the volley (your view stays
where you left it) unless the Bullet Cam triggers.
- Marking only works with real FIREARMS. Melee weapons, thrown
weapons (grenades, C4, molotovs) cannot place marks by design.

None of these affect gameplay - they are known and intentional.

- Nothing happens when I press the key:
Make sure an activation key/button is set (menu -> Activation) and
that another trainer/script isn't grabbing the same key. Rebind to
    a free key if needed.
- No sounds:
Sound files must be PCM WAV (not MP3) and sit in
    scripts\DeadEyeSounds\ .
- Stopped working after a GTA V update:
Update Script Hook V and Script Hook V .NET Enhanced to versions
that match your current game build, then relaunch.
- Marking doesn't work yet:
Multi-target marking unlocks from Stage 2. At Stage 1 Dead Eye is
slow-motion aiming only - rank up with headshots.
