Driver's Eye - Free Version
============================

Widens the field of view of GTA V's first-person driving camera, so you
can actually see the whole steering wheel and dashboard instead of the
stock game's cropped, zoomed-in view. Works in cars, helicopters, and
planes.

This is the FREE version - it includes a small watermark in the
upper-left corner and a few features are Premium-only (see below). Same
core mod either way, nothing about how it actually works is crippled.

REQUIREMENTS
------------
- GTA V, Legacy version (Steam/Rockstar/Epic - this does NOT work on the
2025 "Enhanced" re-release, since ScriptHookV doesn't support it)
- Script Hook V: https://www.dev-c.com/gtav/scripthookv/

INSTALL
-------
1. Make sure Script Hook V is installed.
2. Copy DriversEye.asi into your GTA V folder, next to GTA5.exe.
3. Launch the game, get in a vehicle, switch to first person (default: V).

That's it - settings are all in-game, no separate config file to edit by hand.

CONTROLS
--------
F6 open/close the settings menu (see below)
V (hold) exit back to third person (must be held ~1 second)

SETTINGS MENU (F6)
-------------------
Up/Down move between options
Left/Right adjust the selected value / toggle it
Enter trigger Save or Reset
Numpad 0 close the menu

Free features:
Driver's Eye - master on/off switch for the whole camera override
FOV - live field of view
Height - camera height (one value for all vehicles)
Auto-Recenter - view eases back to center after a moment of no input
Reset to Defaults / Save Settings

Premium features (shown greyed out, upgrade via the menu's Buy Premium
row or the Discord link below):
  Look Sensitivity - mouse/stick look-around speed
Dynamic FOV - FOV widens slightly with speed
Corner Lean - subtle camera roll when cornering hard
Better Hooker View - keeps the camera engaged during that one GTA
minigame instead of dropping to vanilla view
Height per vehicle - Premium remembers a separate height per vehicle
class instead of one shared value
  No watermark

Save Settings writes everything to DriversEye.ini next to the .asi, which
is auto-loaded on startup, so your setup persists across game sessions.
