Volvo 1800 convertible [Add-On | Roof Animation | LODs] V1.0

The Volvo 1800 is a 2+2, front-engine, rear-drive sports car manufactured and marketed by Volvo Cars between 1961 and 1973. Originally a coupé, it was also offered in a “shooting brake” configuration.
Volvo’s plans for convertible were abandoned as too expensive and risky, but Volvo dealer on Long Island, Volvoville had their own limited production of convertible by cutting the roof of the coupe and fitting soft top. Some 30 cars were made of which a handful still survive. A convertible 1800 was also made in Britain by Harold Radford coach building company.

For GTAV, I did the same cutting the roof of the coupe model from “Forza” and fitting soft top. I also created a roof animation to make it more fun.

Engine Sound: It is Tornado2 because of animation sound. You can change it if you don’t mind roof animation sound.

Breakable: windscreens, windows, side-view mirror, rear-view mirror and all lights.
Animated: engine, exhaust, and antenna.
Working speedometer (shows MPH) and signal lights on the dashboard;
hands on the wheel; foot on the pedal; correct passengers positions; dirt map; inner glass does not turn black after upgrade…

INSTALLATION:

1.Copy “vol1800c” folder to :\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks
2. Using OpenIV, go to: \Grand Theft Auto V\\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data — find the “dlclist.xml”
and add the following line:
dlcpacks:\vol1800c\

spawn:cars -> coupes -> Volvo 1800 cabrio
model name: vol1800c
