Hot Air Balloon [Add-on | SP / FiveM] V1.0

A ball. Very calm and relaxing. Beautiful. Please don’t shoot them down. This balloon is not just a Blimp replace.

This is a beta version. I got tired of working on it all for myself and decided to release it as is for now. The mod is not feature-finished, but what’s there and done is well polished already. Expect further updates.

Features:
– The model made from scratch and optimized for game performance;
– A wide range of colorful livery designs;
– Realistic handling to make flying this aircraft an experience of its own kind;
– Custom gas burner flame FX that responds to vehicle speed and damage naturally;
– Ambient events fit seamlessly into the game world: a large-scale balloon airshow above Alamo Sea, tourist attraction flights along Vespucci Beach, and common rides in the Vinewood Hills area;
– The fun doesn’t end in the air: during the events spectators, crowded tourists, service vehicles and utilities marking the launch sites can be found nearby;
– FiveM support: the balloon is rated to seat three, but you can try and pack all your friends in the basket for an air raid at the Altruist Camp.

Installation instructions:
1. Move the w_balloon folder from the archive to [Grand Theft Auto V]\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\;
2. Add dlcpacks:/w_balloon/ to the list inside the [Grand Theft Auto V]\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\dlclist.xml file.

Known issues:
– Missing gas burner (engine) sounds. Flying in silence is much more tranquil tho, and you still got the radio.
– Sometimes player snaps to T-pose when flying the balloon, can be solved by ducking. I’m yet to find the cause of this problem.
