GTA Space - Another Fan Update V1.2

I am a great fan of GTA Space mod, and I was working since a lot of time on my “Stargate Odyssey” mod which is leading you on another planets with human installations (using Menyoo / Map Editor), and I tried to learn how works GTS files, just to add elements in my futur Stargate projects … And that is the first result !
I create a new additional solar system and 4 new habitable worlds (3 planets, and one moon) in Grand Theft Space mod as “fan update”.

Here is the list of modifications:

– adding of “Hawking Planet” : a rocky planet, similar to earth, a little bit smaller. No oceans, only fossil water underground. The climate is hot and dry, temperate at the poles. The air is breathable, but there is no form of life. It is the closest planet to the host star of Kepler B53 system. Here, a day is 30 hours long.

– adding of “Horus” : this is a stormy moon of Hawking planet, protected by a powerfull magnetic field. All covered by hurricanes and storms. Lots of breathing oxygen, water, oceans, but a permanent hostile climate … The days are endless on Horus : more than 20 earth days, linked to planet P1q570.

– adding of a black hole in the background (similar to Gargantua in Interstallar movie by Christopher Nolan, which inspired this update and the original GTS mod itself).

– adding of “Douglas Planet” : this is a giant icy planet, with a solid snowy surface and atmosphere. Temperature is bewteen -20 and -164°C from equator to poles. The air is breathable, but similar to earth at 3000 meters in the mountains. The gravity is 70% of the earth, and a day is 78 hours long. No form of life detected.

– adding of a new wormhole which leads you to “Eleonore” system. A very old system with a dying red giant star, which only has a few million years left before supernova.

– adding of “Eleonora” and his ring : a giant rocky planet, with a very fine atmosphere, but breathable oxygen just on the surface. This planet was inhabited by ancient life forms that have disappeared since billion of years. No water or clouds, the climat is very cold in the night, very hot to the day. The gravity is 40% of the earth. This planet is linked to his star and one full rotation around his host star is 340 earth years long !

– fixes in some spawning points on several planets and orbits (Karoon, Neptune and others).
– new skybox texture (brighter stars) and new sun color in Kepler system.
– new texture for Karoon : the map of this planet is mainly covered by ocean, so I make a new texture, which is now an ocean planet seen from space.
– I have enable sound in space. Less realistic but seems better for in-game experience.

INSTALLATION:

1 – Download and install “Grand Theft Space (GTS)” mod by GTS Devs, and each REQUIREMENTS (ScriptHookV, etc)
(Optional: You can also install “GTS fan made Update” mod if you want, by MarcoSzwk
2 – Using OpenIV, click on Tools -> Package Installer and choose Autoinstall GTS Another Fan Update V1.2.OIV
3 – Now you are done ! Lets travel to Kepler B53 system and explore new potential worlds for colonization !

Ingame:
– “p1q570” = “Hawking Planet” (second earth in Kepler B53 system)
– “p3q570” = “Douglas Planet” (icy planet in Kepler B53 system)
– “px3z5537” = “Eleonora” (ring + rocky planet in Eleonore system)
– “Kepler 394” system = “Eleonore System”

WARNING: The work on this mod took tons of hours, and new expansions are already on the way. Please respect the work done.

known bugs:
– Stars, black holes and another “background” objects are not bright enough. I am working on a way to have brighter backgrounds and suns.
– Some holes can be visible on Karoon water surface, in the ocean (GTS issue).
– In order to resolve a space driving bug (uncontrollable spacecraft with shdn3 ), I had to enable gravity, that is less realistic, but at least you can drive in space and use the mod. I am also working on this issue.
– Sometimes, normal map of Los Santos can quickly be visible in the background on some planets (GTS issue).
– If you have any other problem with this mod, please leave a comment, we will try to solve it as fast as possible.

– Major update to the Stargate script system: You can now choose your destination for each Stargate using CTRL + Numpad 8/2 !

Changelog : V2.10 (15/09/2025) : Bug Fixes, and New Content Update

– Now supports the latest GTAV version (1.0.3586.0)!
– Fix for most crashes, black screen bugs, and infinite loading between planets and/or Stargates thanks to a new included script (GTSCrashFixer.cs, see readme.txt).
– Added a Stargate on Earth, linked to the Moon, on GTS Island.
– Added an apartment and office interior next to the new Earth Stargate, on GTS Island (you can save your game here for faster access to space).
– Added the ZANUFO vehicle to GTS Island, replacing the bugged shuttle launch in space.
– Added the ability to go back to Earth using the Mercury Stargate.

Changelog : V2.00 (04/17/2025) : MAJOR UPDATE :
– addition of 3 new planets and two new solar systems (a rocky super-earth named “Effe”, an ocean super-earth named “TOI-1452b” and a gaseous planet named “Jon01”)
– addition of stargates on all planets, which can be used to reach planets more quickly from the Moon
– added maps, pedestrians and vehicles that load/unload automatically in-game via GTS.asi depending on the planet:
+ Atlantis City: a large autonome floating city built on the habitable planet-ocean “TOI-1452b” with an urban loft, airport, military base, skyscrapers, etc.
+ Karoon City: a city created on the island of Karoon (on a warm, humid ocean planet) with accessible interiors (apartment, office, house with swimming pool), airport, factory, etc.
+ Douglas City: a city created on the frozen surface of the planet “Douglas” with many lights, an airport, several interiors, and a festive atmosphere.
+ Eleonora City: a city under construction (soon to be updated) on the dead planet Eleonora, as well as a secluded hideaway near the stargate.

+ SGC Europe: another underground military base with a stargate, but on Europa, a satellite of Jupiter. It’s smaller than on the Moon, and requires some fine-tuning.
+ Martian Base: a research center on Mars that I created years ago with several interiors, also requiring adjustments (realism, etc.).
+ Project Hawking: implementation of a stargate on Hawking (p1q570), with no further modifications for the moment (hot, desert planet), will be updated soon.
+ Base on Horus: small aquatic base on Horus, Hawking’s storm satellite, with interior and roof access (offices, apartment, rooms … needs adjustment)
+ Military base on Mercury: a base with underground operations, defense systems and an interior to discover (offices, equipment, launch pad, etc.).
+ Buried base on Pluto: a small base with a stargate buried beneath the surface of Pluto, which will be updated shortly.
+ Titan Base: a “premium” exploration and living base on Titan with oxygen garden, storage, living space with views of Titan and Saturn, etc.
+ Base on Venus: a base dedicated to the exploration of an ancient extraterrestrial civilization, after the discovery of a portal in a hidden pyramid on Venus.
+ Camp on Effe: a small camp on a peaceful, newly-discovered habitable planet, covered with hills and greenery (requires adjustment).
– revision and adjustment of all spawns and space teleports to correct the bug that caused several planets and satellites (Titan etc.) to disappear in space
– fixed “holes in the ocean” bug and Los Santos lights visible from Karoon island
– bug fix for Los Santos lights visible from Douglas’ icy surface
– bug fix for Los Santos lights and mountains visible from the desert surface of Hawking and other planets
– revision and adjustment of all spawns and teleports on the surface of all planets and satellites to avoid GTA V map bugs
– atmospheric adjustments (sun position, weather, surfaces and objects) on Mars, Venus, Mercury, the Moon, Titan, Douglas, and Pluto
– elimination of the Moon, which appeared at night in the skies of planets without satellites (Douglas, Effe, Hawking, Titan, etc.)
– added “GTSspawnfixer” script to fix player spawn bugs on planets when GTS is used
– added the “GTStargatefixer” script, which lets you use star gates in a “realistic” way using a transmitter (shift+S, can be modified if required)
– added the “GTStexturefixer” script to correct bugs with textures incorrectly loaded by GTS.asi. Warning, must be removed if you are mapping (will be updated soon).
– adjustment of all planet and star names created in files and in-game
– improved, faster and easier mod installation (in 5 steps)
