” Skarlet is a character in the Mortal Kombat fighting game series. A mage of the deadly arts of Blood Magik, she is one of the adopted daughters of the Outworld Emperor Shao Kahn and serves as his personal bodyguard.

Skarlet made her playable debut in Mortal Kombat (2011) as DLC. Before that, she was a subject of fan speculation that began with rumors of a glitch in Mortal Kombat II, supported by a fake image.

Skarlet returned in Mortal Kombat 11 as a playable character and minor antagonist in the game’s Story Mode. ”
