Obtaining weapons through trainers will usually screw up your ammo (set to 9999). This script saves the amount of ammo in your inventory.
Press to ctrl+s save ammo, then press ctrl+e to set ammo after obtaining weapons. Keys are configurable in SaveAmmo.ini.
Installation Instructions: Requires scripthookV & asiloader (dinput8.dll). Drop SaveAmmo.asi & SaveAmmo.ini into the game root folder.
Issues & Bugs: Haven’t noticed bugs. Tell me in comments if you find any.
