
Street Riders brings realistic physics-based wheelies to Los Santos. Spawn dynamic motorcycle gangs that patrol territories and ride in formation, or apply wheelies to natural traffic riders.
CORE FEATURES:
• Follow Player System: Gangs with CanFollowPlayer = true can escort you through the city. Two trigger modes available:
— Proximity: Riders follow when you’re nearby
— Dynamic: Speed-based trigger — ride fast and close to take the lead, slow down to let them ride autonomous
Toggle manually with F7 (configurable) or let it trigger automatically based on your riding style.
• Dismount Behaviors: When you get off your bike, riders react:
— Wait: They dismount, walk to you, and play idle scenarios (smoking, phone, etc.)
— Continue: A random rider takes over as leader and the group rides on
— Freestyle: They stay on bikes, doing loops and wheelies around you
• Realistic Wheelie Physics: Torque-based continuous force system with velocity damping. Bikes lift naturally, hold stable angles, and coast realistically.
• Zone & Time-Based Spawning: Groups spawn in specific GTA V zones (e.g., Families in Chamberlain/Strawberry) during configurable active hours. Each gang has its own territory and schedule.
• Police Pursuit System: Cops detect riders and engage in persistent chases with configurable pursuit radius and duration. (Optional — disable with AllowPoliceArrest = false)
CUSTOMIZATION:
• Per-Bike Tuning: Create [Bike_MODELNAME] sections in the INI to customize lift force, target pitch, and max pitch for any motorcycle. Example: dirt bikes like SANCHEZ2 can wheelie higher than sport bikes.
• Mixed Vehicles: Enable MixedVehicles = true in group configs to have each rider on a different bike from your BikeModels list (round-robin assignment).
• Bike Colors: Set custom paint jobs per group with BikeColors (e.g., green for Families, purple for Ballas).
• Follow Settings: Fine-tune follow radius, lose radius, dynamic speed threshold, trigger delay, idle scenario distance, and more.
RIDER GROUPS:
Pre-configured gangs include Families, Ballas, Vagos, and Marabunta Salvatrucha — each with unique territories, colors, and schedules. Fully customizable via INI.
INSTALLATION:
1. Install ScriptHookV and ScriptHookVDotNet
2. Place StreetRiders.dll and StreetRiders.ini into your /scripts/ folder
3. Launch the game. You should see: “Street Riders: Loaded!”
CONFIGURATION:
All settings are documented with detailed comments in StreetRiders.ini. Customize spawn settings, wheelie physics, follow behavior, group territories, bike models, colors, and more. Please read the README.txt carefully before editing.

COMPATIBILITY:
• Addon bikes: Should work if installed correctly via dlcpacks — use the spawn name in BikeModels. Not extensively tested — report any issues.
• Los Santos Red (LSR): Reported compatible by users (not personally tested)
KNOWN ISSUES:
• Riders may occasionally get stuck during remount (force-warp timeout mitigates this)

• Taking over a rider’s bike could leave it unable to move because the remount handbrake state was still active.
• When the player enters a tracked rider bike, the script now immediately releases bike ownership and rider tracking.

• RelationshipGroup per group: Assign a GTA V relationship group to riders. Empty = use ped model default.
• PlayerRelationship per group: Define the relationship between each group and the player (Companion, Respect, Like, Neutral, Dislike, Hate, None).
• Bodyguard mode: Riders can now engage in combat with enemies to protect the player.
Improved:
• BlockNonTempEvents: Now always follows the config value. Only blocked temporarily when strictly necessary.
• Bodyguard mode: Removed “WORK IN PROGRESS” status. Safe to enable.
Fixed:
• Initialization message was not showing the correct version.
