The front of the car was stately and attractive. It had angular headlights that gave it an aggressive look. Located between the headlights was the characteristic radiator grille with the BMW emblem. The bumper was also special, with large air intakes to keep the engine cool.
The rear of the car was also stylish and elegant. It had the unique, twin horizontal lights that were typical of BMW eights of the time. The bumper was massive and sporty, with an integrated diffuser and exhaust pipe on each side.
