My goal is to convert and create top-notch weapons for GTA V now and I’m very specific
about my weapon choices and my schedule, but I hope I will have a more free schedule to do this stuff.
I’ve kept this one unfinished and just used it when I played the game casually, but now it is done.
-3 Sight variations [EOTech, Carry Handle, ACOG]
-11 Texture and skin variations as seen on renders
-4 PMAG Magazine Texture variations [Tan, Black, Blue, Red]
-Low-poly model [what Ammu-Nation uses]
-Animated [shellcase breach is not, because of the model’s limitation. I’ve
personally cut the model up so the shells breach out well enough.]
-High quality model
-High quality textures with bump and specular maps for every camo and skin.
-Perfectly aligned and scaled model [muzzle, carrying, etc.]
-Perfectly aligned sights on every model variation.
-Realistic ACOG sight [low illumination, affected by motion blur in fp mode]
-Realistic EOTech sight [reflective on the front panel]
Bugs: Zmodeler export bug, animations will not work 100% of the time. It can be fixed
but I need to renew my Zmodeler or have someone else who has it compile the models for me.
Sidenote: In-game scope and flashlight might not fit well on every model.
With OpenIV go to: Grand Theft Auto V\Mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday3ng\dlc.rpf\x64\models\cdimages\weapons.rpf
OR depending on your game\patchday8ng\dlc.rpf\x64\models\cdimages\weapons.rpf
In Edit mode first replace the texture file from the folder of your desired skin: “w_ar_advancedrifle.ytd”
Then pick your model from EOTech, ACOG, or Iron Sights folders and replace the files: “w_ar_advancedrifle.ydr”
Now replace the original magazine with mine from the folder Magazine
“w_ar_advancedrifle_mag1.ydr” and then choose your desired magazine texture and replace them
with the ones from the folders: “w_ar_advancedrifle_mag1.ytd
