Description:
The HK21E is a 7.62Ć51 mm NATO belt fed general purpose machine gun developed by Heckler & Koch. Built around the proven roller delayed blowback system of the G3 rifle, it delivers controllable automatic fire with the mechanical precision that defines German small arms design. The āEā model, meaning Export, features a lengthened receiver and barrel for improved reliability and sustained fire performance. A quick change barrel system allows crews to maintain high rates of fire, while its modular feed unit can accommodate disintegrating belts and, in some configurations, magazines. Firing from a closed bolt in semi automatic mode for improved accuracy, the HK21E bridges the gap between precision rifle and squad automatic weapon. Apologies for my absence. I’ve been very busy lately. Anyway, here is the HK21E. I wasn’t able to find the Jezzail or Bloodwood skins in the game files, so I only worked on the base textures. Because of the way the gun reloads, the animations don’t quite match, so it looks a bit silly. The bullets on the belt also clip through the feed tray, but that’s about it.
All assets were taken directly fromInsurgency: Sandstorm
Installation:
Just extract the archive and place the files in
mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday8ng/dlc.rpf/x64/models/cdimages/weapons.rpf
For the drum mag put the files in
modsupdatex64dlcpacksmpexecutivedlc.rpfx64modelscdimagesweapons.rpf
How to Fix Texture Loss:
If you are experiencing any texture loss, make a copy of the low texture and rename it to +hi. The low textures should be 1024×1024 or 1024×512. Anything lower does not matter. If the textures aren’t, you need to downscale them to that resolution. If you are still experiencing issues, try changing the pixel format to DXT5 or DXT1.
