Davis Urban Vegetation is a vanilla-style vegetation mapping designed to blend naturally into the GTA V world.
The mapping uses existing GTA V assets and enhances the urban areas around Davis and Rancho with dense and natural-looking vegetation.
This mapping is compatible with FiveM and Singleplayer and includes all required files for both platforms.
The mapping is lightweight and performance-friendly, making it suitable for both servers and singleplayer gameplay.
Davis Urban Vegetation adds a large amount of palms, trees and urban vegetation props to create a greener and more immersive atmosphere throughout the Davis and Rancho surroundings, while keeping the vanilla GTA V style intact.
Davis Urban Vegetation is FiveM ready and consists of a single .ymap file and its corresponding _manifest.ymf.
A fxmanifest.lua is included for easy installation on FiveM servers.
For Singleplayer, the corresponding map files (.ymap) for Map Builder are included and can be installed via the custom_maps setup.
This mapping is fully compatible with:
• Forum Drive Mapping
• Grove Skate Park
This mapping is not an MLO.
It is a CodeWalker-based mapping using standard GTA V map files.
🔧 Installation
FiveM:
Place the resource folder into your server’s resources directory
Add ensure davis_veg to your server.cfg
Restart the server or start the resource manually
Singleplayer:
Requirements:
OpenIV
Map Builder
Installation:
- Install Map Builder
- Open OpenIV → enable Edit Mode
- Open path: mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/custom_maps/dlc.rpf
- Go to: x64/levels/gta5/_maps/custom_maps/
- Copy files:
- davis_veg.ymap
- _manifest.ymf
- Open: mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/dlclist.xml
- Add if missing: <Item>dlcpacks:/custom_maps/</Item>
- Start GTA V
⚠️ Map Builder Notice:
If you install multiple of my maps, the _manifest.ymf file may overwrite because it has the same filename in every pack.
➡️ Solution: rename one of the manifest files (example: _manifest1.ymf, _manifest2.ymf) before copying it into your Map Builder folder.
