Fixes & Improvements V1.2

Information:
This mod fixes various errors and oversights in the game
Note: a complete list of fixes can be found in “FixesList.txt” inside the archive

Requirements:
OpenIV.asi
– Enhanced: OpenRPF

Installation (Legacy):
– Move the “spfixes” folder in “mods\update\x64\dlcpacks” and add “<Item>dlcpacks:/spFixes/</Item>” to the “dlclist.xml”
– update.rpf Files: use the package installer of OpenIV or, to install everything manually, extract the content from the archive and import the 3 folders in “mods\update\update.rpf”
Note: in case of manual installation, “loadinscreen_startup.ytd” needs to be imported from “content\update\x64\data\cdimages\scaleform_frontend” to “mods\update\update.rpf\x64\data\cdimages\scaleform_frontend.rpf”

Installation (Enhanced):
– Move the “spFixes_Gen9” folder in “mods\update\x64\dlcpacks” and add “<Item>dlcpacks:/spFixes_Gen9/</Item>” to the “dlclist.xml”
– update.rpf Files: import the “dlc_patch” and “x64” folders in “mods\update\update.rpf”

– Fixed the incorrect textures of the (unused) glasses of the screen writer from the mission “Reuniting the Family”
– Fixed the eyebrows of the Johnny Klebitz’s gameplay model not having the diffuse, normal and specular maps assigned
– Fixed the tattoo being on the wrong hand of the Johnny Klebitz’s cutscene model
– Added a higher resolution normal map for the Michael’s default haircut, taken from the GTAO model

– Fixed the transparency of the Fabien’s “teef_diff_000_a_uni” texture (both gameplay and cutscene models). Thanks to HeySlickThatsMe for finding the error
– Added wrinkle maps to the “uppr_000_u” and “uppr_001_u” of the Denise’s cutscene model. Thanks to HeySlickThatsMe for finding the error
– Fixed the Wade’s “uppr_diff_003_a_uni” texture not matching the one of the cutscene model
– Retextured the upper back of the Trevor’s “Blue Checkered Shirt”
– Fixed the unused ballistic mask of Franklin clipping with the default haircut
– Replaced the “task_diff_000_h_whi” texture of “ig_lazlow” with the one from the cutscene model. Thanks to rollschuh2282 for finding the error
– Replaced the Michael’s unused cap (for the “Janitor” outfit) with a new model and higher res textures
– Added a separate version of the “prop_bollard_01a” prop with snow decals (which will be used by the next update of Map Fixes)
– Updated only the DLC pack for both Legacy and Enhanced

v6.7
– Added snow decals and icicles to the “prop_snow_gate_farm_03” prop
– Changed the shader and added a normal map for the trunk of the “prop_am_box_wood” prop
– Changed the detail map sampler and values for various Cayo Perico vegetation props
– Improved the “h4_prop_tree_palm_fan_bea_03b” prop (leaves now move and shadows are synced between the normal and shadow proxy meshes, although it’s not pefect, fixed the UV map on the trunk and added an higher res diffuse for it and enabled the detail map)
– Changed the vertex colors for the leaves of the “prop_palm_med_01d” prop and increased the high LOD distance
– Fixed a missing chunk of normal map for trunk of the cedar trees
– Added collisions to the “p_amb_brolly_01” prop (ported from the “p_amb_brolly_01_s” prop)
– Fixed some parts of the normal and “Etched Gun Metal Finish” Special Carbine being rigged to the wrong bones
– Disabled “vb_additions.rpf” from the “patchday26ng” DLC pack (this will make the art around the public bathrooms in Vespucci Beach visibile again. As for the rest of the fixes, those are already included with Map Fixes)
– Changed the “default/extended clip” attachment text to “magazine” in the english text labels. Thanks to DarkViperAU for finding the error
– Updated the DLC pack and OIV package for both Legacy and Enhanced

– Improved the seat of the Pegassi Ruffian
– Removed the “Declasse” decal from the steering wheels of the Injection and rusty and snow variants of the Emperor
– Moved the scenario point of the Vestra inside the Michael’s hangar
– Updated the DLC pack and OIV package for both Legacy and Enhanced

v6.5
– Fixed the decal on the right side of the Police Riot. Thanks to Mrkai721 for finding the error
– Changed the janitor’s outfit textures used by Michael to match the one seen during the cutscene of the Bureau Raid. Thanks to HeySlickThatsMe for finding the error
– Remade the fix for the “prop_inout_tray_02” prop. Thanks to ook_3D for the tint palette tutorial
– Enabled the scenario points inside the FIB’s lobby and office
– Added the “mp2025_02” DLC to the “extratitleupdata.meta” (Legacy version only)

v6.4
– Changed the diffuse texture of the medium LOD model of the “prop_bush_neat_01” prop
– Changed the vertex colors on the medium LOD model of the “prop_bush_neat_08” prop
– Added the missing hat with fur for the cutscene model of the Sasquatch hunter to the Enhanced version
– Moved the fur noise and specular textures to “comp_ped_generic.ytd”
– Moved the fixed minimap textures and path nodes to the OIV package
– Moved the scenario points fixes for the MP map version of the Fleeca Bank in Chumash, the Mission Row police station and the Pacific Standard Bank to the original YMTs
Added most of the content from the “Scenario Groups” mod, with some changes:
– The Diamond Casino entrance and rooftop scenarios are now active only when the MP map is enabled and the parked cars are better placed to fit the updated parking lot. Note: the original scenario points for the original parking remain untouched
– The LS Car Meet exterior scenarios are now active only when the MP map is enabled and the “tr_tuner_meetup” IPL is also loaded
– The nightclubs exteriors scenario groups are now all enabled by default but are active only when the MP map is enabled and the barriers are also loaded. Note: the newest version of Map Fixes is required in order to avoid the scenarios clipping with various props
– The Cayo Perico field workers scenario group is now enabled by default and the scenarios are active only when the MP map is enabled and the island is loaded
– Enabled various non story/missions related scenario groups in the “sp_manifest.ymt”
Note: if installed, remove the Scenario Groups script (ASI/DLL/CS) and replace the scenario YMT files with the new ones

– Changed the name of the mod to “Bugstar Fixes”
– Legacy: added Map Fixes to the list of requirements, updated the DLC pack and the OIV package
– Enhanced: added Map Fixes to the list of requirements, updated the DLC pack and the OIV package

v6.3
– Fixed some parts of the Assault SMG moving when shooting. Thanks to HeySlickThatsMe for finding the error
– Fixed the bolts of the Carbine Rifle Mk II and Combat MG Mk II not moving
– Remade the fix for the decals of the Railgun and Combat PDW

– Replaced the “p_michael_02” suit jacket and pants textures plus the hand, with additional details from the beta hand diffuse, with higher resolution ones from the story mode model
– Overhauled the Franklin’s MP character model: changed shaders, fixed vertex colors, higher resolution textures (from the story mode model and remade) and enabled the detail maps
– Fixed some UV map errors on the Franklin’s golf glove model
– Replaced the head diffuse, normal and specular maps of “cs_jimmydisanto2” and “cs_lestercrest_3” with higher resolution ones

– Fixed the detail map settings of the “prop_snow_t_ml_01” and “prop_snow_t_ml_02” props

– Fixed a train track marked on a minimap tile around Murrieta Heights
– Fixed the Miguel Madrazo’s shirt (both IG and CS models) having the normal and specular maps swapped
– Slightly improved the MP Female jeans around the area of the belt
– Fixed the shirt of the Trevor’s green boiler suit being of two different colors
– Fixed an UV map error on the Franklin and MP Male utility bomber jacket
– Remade the fix for the specular map of the MP characters leather jacket from the Cunning Stunts DLC
– Removed the sharper MP Male Slip-ons shoes textures (they’re now included with the Improved MP Characters Clothes mod)
– Updated the DLC pack for both Legacy and Enhanced
– Updated the OIV package (only the “extratitleupdatedata.meta” was changed) for the Legacy version

– Fixed the vertex colors of the Trevor’s fingerless gloves

– Removed the higher res MP clothes textures as they’re now part of a standalone pack. Note: the various models and textures fixes are still included
– Removed the “Older ExtraTitleUpdateData” optional. Note: I tested and having missing DLCs defined in it doesn’t seem to cause any problem to the game
– Moved the modified “zonebind.ymt” (used for the updated Simple Jurisdiction Fix ) in the optionals folder
– Updated the dlc pack and the “extratitleupdatedata.meta”

v2.7:
– Fixed the “Painted Grille Trim” of the Zentorno not matching the fixed default grille. Thanks to -EcLiPsE- for finding the error

– Added a higher res normal and specular texture of the MP Female canvas shoes from “ig_jio_02” (Jimmy Iovine)
– Added a higher res normal and specular texture of the MP Female high tops sneaker shoes from the “mp2023_01” dlc pack
– Restored the ATI2 normal maps of the Trevors’s head while keeping the higher resolution “wrinklemasksampler” textures from the patched model. Thanks to Jax765 for the finding the change

Props fixes:
– Fixed the specular texture of the “v_ilev_go_window” prop

– Added the Combat PDW’s +hi texture dictionary (as the game doesn’t load the one from patchday8ng)

Scenario fixes:
– Removed “chumash_plaza.ymt” as it needs to be used with Map Fixes (some scenario points at the Chumash pier have been repositioned for the moved benches)

Misc fixes:
– Fixed an error with the content.xml of the patchDay26NG dlc pack. Thanks to HMJN for reporting the error
