Welcome to New Death Sounds For Peds
The Death Screams defaults in GTA 5 are fine, but I would like them to be more realistic, what this mod does is try to replace the death screams, falling screams, burning screams with new realistic ones, some were taken directly from other games like Red Dead Redemption 2, Mortal Kombat and a few others.
Fixes & Improvements update’s new installation:
Someday I’ll try to create an automatic installer to make the installation even easier
To install the mod, you must
1. Extract the “New Death Sounds For Peds Fixes & Improvements” folder to your desktop
2. Open OpenIV
3. Go to mods/x64/audio/sfx/
4. Open the mod PAIN.RPF folder and drag the files from the folder containing the .awc files into the GTA 5 PAIN.RPF in OpenIV
5. Exit the PAIN.RPF in OpenIV and open S.MISC.RPF
6. Open the mod S.MISC.RPF folder and drag the .awc files into the GTA 5 S.MISC.RPF folder in OpenIV
7. Enjoy the mod
HOW TO INSTALL:
Use OpenIV.
You must move the files from the PAIN.RPF folder.
to mods/x64/audio/sfx/PAIN.RPF (if you don’t have Mods folder create one)
Then you must Move the waveload pain male and female file from the S-MISC.RPF folder to
mods/x64/x64/audio/sfx/S-MISC.RPF
Sadly i don’t think it works with FiveM, cuz i tried everything but it just doesn’t work.
If you have the doubt that this mod works in GTA V Enhanced, the answer is yes, the only thing that happens is that to make it work I directly drag the PAIN.RPF after replacing it to the same path of the file, from Legacy to Enhanced.

1.5 Fixes
Added changes:
Replaced many death screams with shorter ones (this was what caused the pain sounds to break, especially during missions).
Added improvements to the female pain sounds.
Broken pain sounds have been fixed: previously, after some time, the pain sounds would stop playing sometimes they would start working again, and sometimes not. This issue has now been resolved, and they work correctly. (If you still experience any problems, don’t hesitate to let me know.)
