[INS2] IzhMash RPKN V1.0

Replaces the Assault Rifle.

Description:
The RPKN is a Soviet light machine gun based on the standard RPK but equipped with a side-mounted optics rail for night-vision devices. Designed for improved nighttime capability, it retains the RPK’s 7.62×39mm chambering, long barrel, and reinforced receiver, providing sustained fire with higher accuracy and reliability. Essentially, it is the night-optics-compatible variant of the RPK, manufactured by IzhMash during the Soviet era.

Please note:
The only issues are minor clipping, and the sights are not configured for the rail.

All assets were taken directly from Insurgency: Sandstorm

Installation:

Just extract the archive and place the files in

mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday8ng/dlc.rpf/x64/models/cdimages/weapons.rpf

For the drum mag put the files in

modsupdatex64dlcpacksmpexecutivedlc.rpfx64modelscdimagesweapons.rpf

How to Fix Texture Loss:

If you are experiencing any texture loss, make a copy of the low texture and rename it to +hi. The low textures should be 1024×1024 or 1024×512. Anything lower does not matter. If the textures aren’t, you need to downscale them to that resolution. If you are still experiencing issues, try changing the pixel format to DXT5 or DXT1.
