[INS2] RPKN V1.0

The RPKN is a night-sight–capable variant of the Soviet RPK light machine gun. Retaining the classic fixed wooden stock and long, heavy barrel of the base model, it was fitted with a side rail to mount night-vision optics such as the NSP-3, giving infantry units the ability to deliver accurate automatic fire after dark. Chambered in 7.62×39mm and compatible with 40-round box magazines or 75-round drums, the RPKN combined the rugged reliability of the AK platform with enhanced low-light capability, making it a versatile squad support weapon for round-the-clock operations.

Replaces the Assault Rifle.

Installation:

Just extract the archive and place the files in

mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday8ng/dlc.rpf/x64/models/cdimages/weapons.rpf

How to Fix Texture Loss:
If you are experiencing any texture loss, make a copy of the low texture and rename it to +hi. The low textures should be 1024×1024 or 1024×512. Anything lower does not matter. If the textures aren’t, you need to downscale them to that resolution. If you are still experiencing issues, try changing the pixel format to DXT5 or DXT1.
